Return and Refund Policy

We're confident that after experiencing the joys of barefoot freedom, your feet won't want to go back to "normal" shoes. However, if you change your mind for any reason within 30 days, you can return or exchange your footwear at the Toronto store per our policy conditions and processes below.

Check Your Size

We recommend checking our Vivobarefoot size guide at vivobarefoot.com/ca/size-guide before or during your visit to the Toronto store. Our staff are also happy to help you find the right fit in store.

Footwear Not Right?

If your Vivos aren't right for you, you can return them to our store within 30 days of purchase. Please note that, at this time, the Vivobarefoot Toronto store system may only accept returns for purchases made from the Toronto store. If you purchased from another retailer or the Vivobarefoot Canadian website, please contact them directly for their returns policy.

Vivobarefoot Toronto will accept product returns for a refund, provided that all of the following conditions are met:

  • Unworn and unused with any original tags attached.
  • In the original shoebox.
  • Within 30 days of purchase.
  • Purchase was made at our store.
  • Shoes must not have scuffed or dirty soles. We recommend that when you first try on your new shoes at home, you wear socks and test them on carpet, just in case.
  • Clearance or marked-down items are eligible for a refund in the form of a gift card equal to the purchase value.

Return Process

Bring your footwear back to our store with your original receipt. Please ensure:

  • Shoes are repackaged in their original shoebox, including any paper stuffing or wrapping from the original purchase.
  • The shoebox is in clean, presentable condition.

Refund Timeframe

In-store refunds to credit or debit cards typically appear within 1 to 3 business days to your original form of payment. Please note that returns for purchases made with credit cards will be automatically refunded to the original card used. Returns for purchases made with Interac will require the debit card to be present in store to refund back to the original card.

Does Canada participate in the 100-day trial offered by the UK?

Unfortunately, the 100-day trial is not available in Canada, as we source all our shoes directly from Vivobarefoot for resale in the Canadian marketplace. Consequently, the program does not apply here.

Are all products returnable?

All footwear is returnable within 30 days of purchase, provided it meets our return conditions above. Apparel and Naboso toe spacers are not returnable for hygienic reasons.

What do I do if my shoes are faulty? Do you offer a guarantee on products?

We offer a 6-month manufacturing warranty for all of our footwear. However, we understand that issues may arise with faulty products beyond this period. In such cases, we review them on a case-by-case basis to ensure customer satisfaction.

Our warranty policy is subject to the following limitations:

  • It is at the discretion of our trained Customer Service team to determine if shoes fall within our manufacturing warranty.
  • All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt directly from our Toronto store. Any warranty claims for shoes purchased from the Vivobarefoot Canada website or authorized resellers should be initiated directly with vivobarefoot.ca.
  • Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty.

Examples of what is not covered by the warranty:

  • Products acquired from aftermarket sources such as online auction sites, liquidators, consignment shops, private sellers, samples, or promotional products.
  • Improper fit. Fit is the responsibility of the owner and should be assured before wearing the product.
  • Comfort issues.
  • Frayed material, worn stitching, and worn soles due to normal wear.
  • Stitching or hardware failure due to tearing or other abnormal wearing accidents.
  • Modifications or alterations to the product.
  • Damage resulting from misuse, normal wear and tear, or damage incurred during storage or transportation.
  • Deterioration from water abuse.
  • Skateboard or bicycle abuse.
  • Cuts, scratches, burns, etc.
  • Shrinkage from overexposure to extreme heat.
  • Waterproof products: Maintaining the waterproof properties of your boots is essential to ensure they stay dry and comfortable. Like all waterproof products, maintenance is necessary. Although our waterproof styles feature a waterproofing membrane within the construction of the boot, the external waterproofing properties of the boots may gradually diminish. This is considered normal usage and is not covered under warranty.
