Retail Guide / Sales Associate
(Full-Time & Part-Time)

Vivobarefoot is opening its Toronto flagship store on Queen Street West, and we’re looking for passionate Retail Guides to help bring our movement to life through exceptional customer experiences, community connection, and authentic storytelling.
This is more than a traditional Sales Associate role. We’re looking for lifestyle ambassadors who are passionate about movement, wellness, sustainability, and meaningful human connection. People who thrive in conversation, lead with authenticity, and are energized by helping others discover healthier ways to move.
Elevate the Vivobarefoot Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences rooted in education, connection, and authenticity.
- Engage with customers through product demonstrations, and guide them to make informed purchasing decisions that support their barefoot journey.
- Develop deep knowledgeable about Vivobarefoot products, natural movement principles, and barefoot transition journeys.
- Act as a passionate brand ambassador and help bring Vivobarefoot’s mission and values to life on the sales floor.
- Build authentic relationships with customers and foster long-term community engagement and loyalty.
- Support local events, activations, and community-building initiatives including run clubs, mobility workshops, and wellness partnerships.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to continually strengthen product knowledge and customer experience skills.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
Deliver Store Performance & Customer Experience
- Work the sales floor with energy, accountability, and a strong customer focus to support store sales goals and team performance.
- Consistently deliver a premium customer experience that balances education, service, and commercial results.
- Support the achievement of store KPIs, operational goals, and customer experience standards.
- Confidently recommend products based on customer needs, lifestyle, and movement goals.
- Help drive customer retention and repeat business through relationship building and exceptional service.
- Handle customer questions and complex situations with care, calmness, and professionalism.
Support Store Operations & Brand Standards
- Actively support daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, and POS transactions.
- Maintain high standards across cleanliness, visual merchandising, and back-of-house organization.
- Execute merchandising updates in alignment with Vivobarefoot brand standards.
- Support inventory counts, replenishment, stock organization, and product flow to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming store environment.
ALL ABOUT YOU
- 1–3+ years of retail sales, hospitality, customer experience, or community-facing experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for Vivobarefoot, premium retail, wellness, lifestyle, fitness, hospitality, or community-driven environments is highly valued.
- A confident communicator who thrives in conversation; bilingual or multilingual skills are considered an asset.
- Naturally curious, customer-oriented, and comfortable building authentic relationships.
- Enjoys engaging with customers through product education, demonstrations, and upsell recommendations.
- Motivated by delivering exceptional customer experiences while contributing to team sales goals.
- Reliable, proactive, and energized by working in a collaborative environment.
- Expected to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. (Full-time is 40 hours per week. Part-time is up to 30 hours per week)
- Comfortable standing and actively engaging on the sales floor throughout shifts.
- Able to safely lift boxes/packages up to 30 lbs and navigate stairs where required.
